"WELCOME TO COBRAS TAE KWON-DO"
The martial art of Tae Kwon-Do is an ancient form of unarmed combat practised in the orient for many centuries; it originates from Korea and literally means ‘hand and foot, way or art’.
Tae Kwon-Do combines styles and techniques from many other martial art systems to give a broad and varied programme of training. It includes the traditional elements of Karate such as patterns and freestyle techniques including semi-contact sparring, self-defence and ground fighting.
Tae Kwon-Do can offer something for everyone – fitness, flexibility, social elements and so on. It is equally as suitable for males as it is females, both young and old.
Our classes do teach self-defence, high kicking and punching, but more importantly they teach life skills including courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit, which make up the 5 tenets of Tae Kwon-Do.
Even if Tae Kwon-Do is practised for exercise alone, the enjoyment derived from it will by far justify the time invested!
I look forward to helping you achieve your personal goals and needs in your training. Working together we can ensure you achieve the ultimate goal – becoming a black belt!
